birthdays, life and law school

July 21, 2005. Today is my 24th birthday. Well, actually the civil code contemplates a year to be 365 days, therefore i’d have to consider myself as a few days past my 24th already (obviously, we don’t have Feb. 29 every year). Plus, the chinese consider conception as the starting point so im already much older than i’d like myself to believe. Then again, i’m not chinese. And to some people, that’s all that matters. Or maybe parents lang nila? Does it even matter? hehe bitter. (moving on, moving on) hahahaha –> MOVED on pala haha

But i digress. i don’t like this age. i’d rather be 25 already. At least then, i’d have 100 as my base and i can say im quarter of a century years old. haha but 24? it’s like being put on a swing that’s  tied to a branch of a tree which is a little too low that one’s feet graze the ground every so often… Bitin.. alanganin. Bad trip. arrgh. birthdays… even my metaphors suck. Merit English Merit English pa, tsamba lang naman un hehehe

I always think about what would have happened to me had i gone to Ateneo for law school. After 16 years of studying  in ateneo (prep to college), i could have gone to rockwell and finished my law degree there na rin.. 20 years sarado, sana. blue blooded. loyalty award. true blue. Men for others, maka-AM+DG. AQUILAN(?) yep, my dad/relatives would have forced me to join anyway haha.

But it didn’t happen. UP law. "#1 sch", scholar ng bayan. aktibista? NOT! :)
common sense prevailed.  sobra mura ng tuition. "best" legal education. nanghinayang sa slot kasi konti pumasa. libre parking (kahit nananakawan ng Emblem ng honda crv).

That sort of thing. At least I’m honest. haha

nah.. surprisingly, hindi ako nagsisisi. i’ve come to love UP. wag lang nila kalaban ateneo sa UAAP basketball. just like with my "B-boys barkada" in highschool, i feel like i’ve developed/am developing some real friends here too. Yun nga lang, konti lang talaga. well, so far.

love life… hmm wala! cool :) i’ll just have to put my "5 minimum standards" up, then wait for applicants. haha whatever.

shit. back to reality. Harry Potter vs. Negotiable instruments book. damn, i have IPL and TAX pa tomorrow. choice number 3: sleep.

happy birthday to me.

    1) hindi (na) ako bitter sa chinese; naging best friend ko rin un for a while after we broke up. haha
    2) No ayaw ko. At least not in the sense you guys are hinting at. i’m assuming you are referring to my VERY good cebuana FRIEND (tsktsk bad kayo) hehe
    3) i’m happy i’m single. what’s wrong with waiting for the right person? afterall, i’m perfect as it is already. hehehe loko lang.
    4) 29 or 30 pa ako magpapakasal. ang haba pa ng karera boys and girl(s).
